Telford & Wrekin Council has launched an enhanced trader register service to try & help protect residents from shoddy home maintenance. Home maintenance & improvements are the 2nd most complained about consumer issues in Telford & Wrekin. So to protect homeowners new measures are in place. A revised Code of Practise has been introduced for Members. Also annual membership fee was introduced at the beginning of this year as well as enhanced checks on traders who apply for membership. By using the Trader Register & this package of improvements it is designed to ensure we have the best possible database of Traders with the aim of giving people confidence that they are using reputable businesses.
